Together with the Buy Responsibly Foundation we have organised a workshop, panel debate and ethical brands market to deliver an engaging ethical fashion experience. The foundation has facilitated a workshop on responsible shoe shopping and making, while Izabela Przybysz from Institute of Public Affairs has led a debate on shaping a responsible purchasing policy for public institutions. Second debate ‘Made in Poland’ explored the issue of decent work in garment manufacturing industry. The debate included a diversity of voices from: Barbara Chwiesiuk – owner of local brand Bialcon, Anna Paluszek from Buy Responsibly Foundation, Mariola Łucka - ex garment worker and trade union member and Wojciech Słaby - a director of the local employees association. We gathered diverse audience, numerous media partners and 8 ethical polish brands.
